Pigs

Tonight one of my classmates was injured during drum rehearsal. We took her to the closest hospital which was near the school we'd just left. While the class was certainly concerned with our colleague's injury, a few of us decided to walk around the hospital parking lot after spotting a few pigs walking down the street. I decided to videotape the pigs while Angela and Tina took photos. I like this moment because the pig squeal startled the three of us. I would have never imagined that I'd be listening to pigs outside of a hospital.

Waves - Copacabana Beach in the Morning

This video is from Copacabana Beach the morning after my arrival. The beach was fairly sparse, as people engaged in different activities. Alea and Daniel were performing a Tai Chi meditation. The waves are especially boisterous in this clip. They roared as the ebb and flow of water swept grains of sand on and off the coast. I hope all mornings are this peaceful.
